When the video “Passinho Foda” reached 4 million views on YouTube, Beiçola and his friends were surprised. Recorded with a digital camera in a back yard during a barbecue, the video showed a new way to dance carioca funk. In less than a week, it went viral on the Internet. The documentary portrays this phenomena and discovers how the culture around the funk world has expanded beyond funk dance parties, DJs, and favelas.

Helena is a recently graduated attorney that has to divide her routine of defending children and adolescents in the Courthouse of Santos with the care of the young Caio, with whom she lives a relationship of complicity and harmony. Their relationship is put to the test when Caio commits an felony.
Helena and Caio come from a middle class family. This reality contrasts with the harsh routine of those who Helena defend in the Courthouse: poor chil- dren, lacking parental care and living on the edge of the law. Fellow court- house colleges, the judge Carlos and the prosecutor Paulo, never seem to doubt the responsibility of the kids in the crimes they committed. Still, Helena gets involved in the lives of the minors and do everything to defend them, measuring no efforts to prove that judging is not as easy as it sounds.
All these certainties are put into test when Caio commits an felony, causing the social abyss that exists between Helena and the kids she defends to decrease, exposing an abandonment situation she experiences herself.
